Preparing the week before:
- PGather all you need to sell in one spot in your house. Do this several days in advance.
- PPack it on a table, as you plan to sell and display it at the car boot sale.
- PDecide if you want to price each item, or if you are happy to haggle.
- PDo a quick search on the internet for the price of your item when it is bought new, and price it reasonably.
- PEither way, add price tags, or print a sign indicating people can make offers, or all prices are negotiable, whichever you prefer.
- POptional but handy: Print a sign with your mobile number so buyers can pay via Juice.
- PIf it is pre-loved goods, make sure it looks sparkling clean, and check the pockets of any clothes you are selling.
- POn Friday night, load your priced and cleaned items in your boot, and lastly, load the table and any stands you might be bringing.
- PLoad a chair, umbrella, tablecloth, and weights to keep your stands upright.
- PBring along a cloth and wet-wipes, and a pen and paper to keep track of your sales.
- PMake sure you bring change, plenty of small bills.

What happens on the day:
- NCheck our WhatsApp group for updates on the weather
- Find the location on Google Maps (links in the footer)
- NLeave early to ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start.
- NPark where allocated - as instructed upon arrival
- NDo not unpack until the open parkings around you area is full
- NBy 8:00 we are officialy open for business
- NAblutions are available at the event center
- NAlthough security is available, still be vigilant
- NOnly pack up after the event has ended.
CBS is a kids friendly area.
Many vendors sell toys and childrens’ clothes.
We encourage whole families to come and visit.
It is for the safety of these kids and pedestrians that we do not pack up and leave before the due time.
To keep them safe.
Please abide by the regulations.
Expect friendly co-vendors, keen buyers, and unpredictable weather.
A gazebo is highly recommended. 5 Hours in the sun is challenging!
You can rent a 2m x 2m gazebo while registering, or bring your own as long as it is not too big, as the bigger canopies take up too more space and is hazardous on a windy day.
BRING WEIGHTS. Wind is a given and a flying canopy can injure people and damage cars. Note how the canopy above has been achored.
Sometimes if the venue is big enough, we will park bumper to bumper.
This will be announced in the WhatsApp Group before the time.

- The organiser is also first aid certified.
- Gazebos and tables can be rented in advance for Rs500 with a Rs1000 deposit from the organiser.
- Registration fees are not refundable or transferable if you can’t make it.
